Death Invoker-Demo 2010 (Cassette)

Each Peruvian band has their own approach to the sound, but all had the same characteristics; brutal but simplistic riffing, relentless blast beats and haunting brutal metal howls. This demo begins with practically an explosion, with some of the scariest sounding vocals in metal and ugliest riffs. It's kind of like if old school death metal meets Bathory. The solo kicks in for about 20 seconds, and resembles your classic Jeff Hanneman chaos solo, and executed very well. Unfortunately every demo has its weakness, and for this demo from 2010 it's the indecipherable guitars drowned out by the drums and vocals. Though it creates a chaotic atmosphere for the album, it does eventually become a bit of a nuisance.  However this band has memorable riffs. Haunting bestial vocals that were unheard until 2010, great riffs and fantastic chaos solos throughout! I recommend Death Invoker to anyone who is a fan of black/Death metal in the old school way.
